My story for writing

Hi bloggers this week In wriitng I did a story it was a bit like The Lion King but here is what I wrote.

When Simba was newly born and he was named Simba after 3 years, he wanted to go and have a look at the jungle in the early morning, so he quickly went to his father and said wake up I want to have a look at the jungle. Okay let's go  so they went but one thing was missing he did not show him where the hyenas live so asked can we go there he said no. But his father had some work to do so he sent him back.

After he was sent back it was his cleaning time but he went to 

another walk with his friend and they got to the hyena and took them to their place when they were just on the hill close to it.

But Simba had a plan of how to get aways from them. It actually worked and he got away. He was running home as quick as he could but 4 hyenas were chasing them. At that moment his father appeared and fought off the hyena and took him home. Simba felt a little bit brave from that.

Simba got smart and like that he became the smartest boy in the hole jungle so they all started to talk about simba and that how his smart life began.

This week

 Hi bloggers this week I did a lot of fitness and I think I have gone a bit faster and I really like this weeks work than last week because I had code avengers and I think it was pretty fun because it was easy learn something. That all because of our teachers Miss Daly,Mrs Jones and Mrs Sands for this week and the awesome work for us. I think you guys are having a preety fun week like me and many other school. About this week

 Hi bloggers this week was really fun becsause I had alot of fun work this week and that why it is the best week. Of all the time we have stayed n in lokdown. The servay that I did today was about aukland and I did knew most of ther answer but I needed a little but of hello. But if you think the servay was fun Then I  have a qestions and you have to answer it in the comment. Where does auklands water come from ?  But for the last 4 days I had to do the same thing again because I had to reading different books and answer questions and preaty much the same in writing so the weekw as really fun. This week in lockdown

 Hi bloggers this week was a really fun week and I think this lockdown will get more and more fun the fearther we go and I hope the lockdown is over soon. I think the lockdown work is a bit better than the school work. In this week my funest work was maths and writing because I got some awesome tasks to do and that why it is the best. I didn't like reading so much because I got to do the same thing again because we had to pick 3 books every day and they always came up different. This week I did 7,000 steps and I think it was really awesome for fitness and I would love to do that next week as well . I hope you are all okay bloggers and stay safe.😷

Lockdown

                               Lockdown 

 Hi blogger as you know for the last 2 week it is lockdown and we have class meet every day exapt weekends. Well in our school after the meet or any time before 4 in the evning you have time to do you 4 tasks.You have a choise like in reading I want to read about Micheal Jorden so I open epic books and find a book about him and read. Writing is all good but don't know which task to do sometimes and that's like inqury we have to watch a movie and it is quiet hard because there are many movie's. But maths is the most fun work to do ouyt of all the work that we are being given and I like to do studdyladder on it timetable because I am a bit bad at time table. For other stuff I do running the most because we are trying to walk the length of New Zealand all together 70 children. Mostly every things Is going good and our school will open in level 2. So that's what were up to in this lockdown and I hope all of you are allright and seeya. Blog you later!

Ancient Olympics Games

                            Ancient Olympics

Hello blogger this week in reading we did a DLO it was about Ancient Olympic Games in the old times and what changes are there then and now. It was really fun because I learned some new facts about Ancient Games. I didn't know that they used to wear so less clothes every time and I found out that they only played a few games. My favorite part was when I found out how they used to do the Olympics and how they learned it or found that sport. When I was finding a photo for my DLO It looked so weird because they were wearing weird clothes. 

Also I will leave a link so you can look at my DLO and see what I did at the end of the my blog. I will tell you some really interesting facts about ancient games. Like some of you know that they women were not allowed to play in the Olympics they were killed just attempting the Olympics or even watching. The top 3 used to get a very big prize for coming top 3 and everyone use to try really hard just to come in the top 3. Here is a link to my Ancient Olympics slide show that I have been working on.

Cook island

                            Cook Island 

Hi bloggers in the school holidays Miss Daly our class teacher went to Rarotonga she went there to visit some schools. When she came back we did a slide show and that was about Cook Islands. You had to tell about how many thing are there in this photo, what is Miss Daly making in this photo, what do the boys wear and the girls. I found the information from cook island dictionary and translated the word from English to Cook Island. The best thing I learned many new thing like how to say all of these word pauaoa/dog, Tangata/people, Mapia/water, no'o anga/chair, akamaranin/shed, potera/boat, ‘aka‘ō‘ō-welcoming.

The costume that boys where is Te-vaka and the girls is titi, pareu means a single straight piece of printed cotton cloth that what Miss Daly was making. Pakarikari means you strength plate-mereki, bowl-pa and string-kati coconut is called akari. I really enjoyed doing all of that stuff about cook island and I learned many new thing. Olympics

                               Olympics

 Hello bloggers this week we watched  Olympics we watched rowing, rugby x2 and swimming. In the first match it was Fiji against Japan and Fiji won, I voted for Fiji because they are really good. In rowing we won, there were 6 different teams we came first and  we won a gold medal in rowing , that was a big proud moment for New Zealand. The next rugby match we won by 29-7 NZ against Kenya I was so happy because New Zealand was in the semi-finals. In swimming there was 7 teams and in the beginning America was first then Australia caught up to win. My friend said if Australia win the New Zealand will get some of the credit because we are part of Australia, but we are not, they are just our neighbours.

At the end of the swimming race Australia won and America came second and Australia's team got so happy but Australia said to America good game maybe next time you will win. We also did an Olympics sport logo study that you have to guess which sport it is and write it in the box below, at the end you have to pick which sport you want to do and tell its history country at origin, describe it country popular & amount. I picked basketball 3x3 means 3v3 and basketball was invented by a American named James Naismith 1891 that was 130 years ago. To get really good at basketball I suggest do 30-50 minutes of practice. 

That what we did about Olympics this week and I really enjoyed it and I got to learn some new facts about Olympics I think we will win in rugby easily in the Olympics😎. Hope you enjoyed this Olympic blog.  Here are some photos until then. Blog you later bloggers!!

Richie Patterson at our school

 Hello blogger this week on Thursday Richie Patterson came to our school he told us about his curryer how he become a weightlifter. He told us about how he won the gold medal by lifting 184 kgs above his head three times like the weight of 2 fridges with milk. Told us about how he started what his dream was when he was small he use to live on a farm. He wanted to be a rugby player when he was small then we wanted to be a weightlifter when he first went to the olympics he failed and so he was really sad that time but he did not give up. 

He trained worked harder to improve and next time he came and he failed again but still he did not give up. Richie Patterson told us about his wife how she was a weightlifter and she jumped on a wall the was taller than her same as Richie so they got married. When he won the gold he then won the silver but after that he wanted to win a browne kind of weird because gold, silver, bronze. Now he is the couth of his two students and he said if we are watching the olympic they he will shave his eyebrow with his fingers to say hi to us. 

Now he is a couth and he has two student that will be participating  in the olympics in tokyo. When he won the silver he saw some big big people like lebron james and the craziest person Cristiano Ranaldo. That was his story how he become a weightlifter.

Matariki DLO

                            Matariki

 Hi bloggers this week we did a Matariki DLO you had to tell everything you new and fill information, here is what I wrote to tell what is Matariki. We all have to do the Matariki DLO I also looked at a story and I learned to find Matariki in the morning.  The best thing I learned about Matariki was how to find it and so many people don't know how to find it.

That's what I wrote about Matariki and even myself. I learned some new things and also how to find Matariki I can't see it because I don't wake up at 5-6 in the morning. Stem week Waikowhai student led Toolkits

                               Toolkits

Kia ora blogger last week on Friday we had toolkits and for that we need you chromebook fully charged because we will be doing toolkits until 1pm. There was 3 things that you can choose to do them in orders of first, second and third. There was 24 presenters in 24 toolkits.

The first toolkit that I went to was Drones it was really frustrating 😠because the Drones were not charged so we had to go do Spheros. I actually think that was more fun than Drones because we learned how to use them and how to drive them in a group of 4 and it was so fun the Spheros could go about 2 km per hour.

When I came back from morning tea I went to Incredibox that was so much fun and I already knew how to play it. In Incredibox you make you own song and with putting the music man on a player and he will start to sing and I made three and played all of them at ones. At the end I showed 2 of my Incredibox that I made.

After Incredibox I went to brainbox it is a building thing and I made a working fan I really liked that someone else made a speaker and it actually worked. That when I thought Incredibox and Brainbox is my favorite 2 toolkits. after lunch we had to answer the roll with you favorite toolkit and I said Incredibox.

 That was the most fun day in the week if you have a chance please choose Incredibox and I tell you why because I created a really nice music and I think it was slightly better then Spheros and Brainbox.

Pink T-Shirt Day

                       PINK T-SHIRT DAY

Hi blogger last week was pink t-shirt day so every buddy had to wear something pink. I forgot that it was pink shirt day so I just wore my school uniform at school and also I did not have any pink to wear 👕. But before coming inside the classroom I go to bible and I saw all the people having something pink. That's when I remember that I had to wear something pink to school for pink shirt day.  After bible I came into class and the teacher asked me wear is your pink I said I didn't have anything to wear.

Then we went to the singing assembly and it was also Mrs McGrath birthday day if you don't know who she is she is the deputy principal of Waikowhai Primary School, so we sang happy birthday to her before singing🎂.  After the assembly we went outside and took the photo of everyone wearing pink and some people didn't wanted to wear pink, we took the photo with a drone up in the spy and noticed  that we were making the t.  

Then we made a t- shirt to give it to you neighbour that was for art and I was so tired of doing that because I had to draw on 3 pages for almost 2 hours. After the day ended I went to do backtrack and after that I went home that what we did on pink shirt day.

Netball at school

                                   Netball

Hi blogger this week we did netball at school. In the beginning like always we did forever tag and I was so happy because I love to play forever tag so much. After forever tag we did some exercise for running and stretching . 

Then we played the game of golden child. In the game we had 2 teams - one team running and one at shooting. The shooting people have to shoot in the hoop and if they score the running people have to stop where they are. 

The runners have to try and run around the court before they score. The last person in the line is the golden child because he run a if he tags us we with him and try to get to the finish line .

 Then they switch around. It was a really fun game because it will get you faster at running. We lost 3 games but we win 1 game and we did it 4 times . So that was it for today's netball.

Trip To Spark Arena

                     TRIP TO SPARK ARENA

Hello bloggers "yeeeeessssss!!!" today all the year 6's went to Spark Arena and the year 5 had to stay back at school. There was Suzy Cato in the Spark Arena and they had their CEO of Spark Arena his name was Brendan . It was in the city and when we came inside 2 more schools there named Royal Road and Lincoln Heights School were in the Spark Arena. The first thing we went to was the Happy Place. At the Happy Place we had a ball pit that we had to jump into it was 15 feet deep and you had to climb out of the ball pit by the ladder. Then we went some more places in the Happy Place and took some photos in the Happy Place.

Then we went to the Sounds Fun place there we learned how to play the music instruments at the sounds fun the first thing we did was to make a sound that is like your sucking a strawberry. You make the noise in the instrument it was kind of fun and kind of hard then 4 of the year 6's sing a song that they said Miss Daly in the entire song that's our teacher name. When the people were singing Miss Daly the teacher was avoiding them, then we did we some more activities related to music.  

After sounds fun we went to see some of the art in the gallery of a artist I said woah this is amazing. There was a hologram that showed the pictures of the artist on the ground so we decided to sit on it. These are all the art that was there , train art , sunflower art, old town art, human art and some more different art.  After that we got lunch from the Spark Arena staff it was sandwich, drink, chips and apple. All the three schools sat down and eat  after we finished it was time to go back to our school and we came back at 12:30 started to do blogging.  It was a really fun trip and we were lucky to go there.

Fitness plan and the diary's

                   Fitness plan and the diaries

Hello bloggers for the last two weeks we have been doing fitness plan in our diaries. In the fitness plan what you have written down in your fitness plan that's what you do. So if you have wrote 20 push ups and 4 laps around the court or maybe 15 burpees you have to do it all for you fitness plan and you have 15 minutes to do all the 9 thing that you have wrote. For a example If you wrote 15 burpees, 25 push ups, 4 laps around the field and hold plan for 2 minutes. 

Now onto the diary's you have to do 4 tests and the first one is hold plank for long as you can me and my friend Ros (Go check out his blog!) topped at one minute but we forgot about that you can go long as you want to LOL!!!. How many burpees can you do in 60 second and I got 18 burpees done in that amount of time.  Then we did the 10 meter run forward and back I got 7.5 laps done in the 60 seconds time.

The final thing we did was the Endurance run there were 3 points if you go pass one you get 0.1 so in that I got 6.2 laps done the worst thing is I was so close to my 7 lap. That our fitness plan and the fitness diary's I felt that is really good. This is the link of my fitness plan on my chromebook.

Anzac Day

 Going to my friend house

“YYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!” 

It was a sunny and exciting day. Me and my mum and my mom's friend went to my friend's house in Whangarei, he is 7 years old . The drive was 2 hours long and I got bored in 15 minutes so I kept on asking them when are we gonna reach there. We saw some beautiful views on the way and I took some photos of it. When we reached there I saw him playing with his warehouse lego then he came to me and started to show his other legos. We both had milo and got straight to play so we played hide & seek in the house. It was easy peasy to find him. 

Then we painted the dinosaurs that my mum bought for him. 

He was painting the T-rex and after doing the tail he told me to paint it so I painted the T- rex for him. After that we went to the beach and played football when the ball was going to the water and I was running fast to stop the ball from going into the water. Someone else's dog came and he was chasing us around when the dog went back when it’s owner called him and the owner said don’t worry he won't bite you. At the beach we made sand castles that have water around it so it looks like the castle is on an island with a safety gaurd.

Then we climbed the mountain that was beside it and we could have a great view of the beach and the castle that we built. It was a really nice view. When we came back he was crying because the sand went into his eyes and he went and put water in the eye . When he was feeling okay I accidently broke his lego so I asked him can I build you a house other than a warehouse. I finally built it after 7 minutes and then we put his batman toy car in his house then he played with it for a few minutes. Then we played with the remote control cars, then we checked on our dinosaurs that we painted before going to the beach. 

Then we got the batman car and started to save the city from the robots they were the bad guys from that time. Then we got the big trucks and started to kill the robots and save their city with the big trucks. Then we were watching a movie while eating, after the movie we thought about going home because it had been 6 hours . Then we went home and it took us 2 hours again to reach home and my mum said to her friend if she could stay. But she said no I am sorry someone is coming to our house today and I have to go home now. After we reached home I changed my clothes and started to watch the TV and then my friend's mum called my mum.

Anzac Day

 Hi bloggers yesterday on wednesday the 14.4.21 we were in the trenches and the trenches were made out of strings . When I got to school we went into the no man's land mean trenches we stayed there for the rest of the day, The first thing that we did was basic facts test under the trenches with all the gunfire. Doing the basic facts test was sort of hard because it was annoying too, after the test we had fruit break under the trenches and we did some exercise I didn't want to eat . 

After that we had to do if, you were in the war what letter will you send home so we had to write a letter for home, also we had to make a poem and if you have finished your letter. After that it was morning tea and then we came back and had to finish the letter that we were doing before morning tea and also the poem, then we had to make 12 boxes. Then the teacher will read a story to us and we have to draw picture about what happened in the story and you need to listen carefully for that. Then it was the time to do blindfolded tidy up the strings and the end of the day.

Netball

Hi bloggers last Wednesday at school we did netball , the coaches name was Olivia and Josina before the we did Forever Tag. After Forever Tag we did a game that you had a shirt in you pocket and you have to try to get many shirt you can from other people's pocket. It was really fun game , after that game we play a match non bibs vs bibs we had to run to the other half that you can get tagged by the other people and you have to get many balls possible in your half. The last game was a really hard game you had to run so fast to get away from the other people tag . The next round we could throw that ball to other people no matter how far they are  but the ball can't bounce on the ground or you put the ball back in there half . If you got tagged in the game you go back in you own half and when they other people come to you half you can tag them but they have to try to run away from us. That was the a good game and we all said bye to the coaches and see you next time.

Lockdown Again

 Hi bloggers last week again we went in lockdown , one week before that we had lockdown for 3 day. In the one week lockdown we had to do maths, reading, writing and then the teacher we check if it is after 5 it won't be marked . So I finished my work by 12 am, after doing my work I went and watch tv and play game for fun. In the lockdown I read the the world's worst children book it was a really funny book to read in the lockdown. In maths we had many many thing to do like prototec, kahoot same with reading and writing. Also in the lockdown we had a Tsunami warning but it went past Auckland it happened in Whangarei and that where my mums friend lives. So they were safe from the tsunami because it was only a small tidal surge. Here some of the photos of the work we did and what we did in the lockdown.

 Hi bloggers this week on Thursday we did slip and slide at school after art. We lined up to the slip and slide ,while I was doing it I did so many moves like soccer celebrating  and many more. We had to be in pairs of 2 people and I love doing the soccer move the most and after we were done with slip and slide we went to the pool. 

When we went in the pool we had a free time. We played in the pool for 40 minutes and it was so much fun to do. After we did everything we changed then we went back to class and we played then it was lunch time. It was the most fun day I had in school I loved doing slip and slide the most.
